Ski area Corvatsch - Sils - Silvaplana

With the lift pass "Engadin St. Moritz Mountain Pool" you can access a total of 326 km of piste (incl. ski routes) in the region, with the use of 53 modern ski lifts. You'll find the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza, as well as several other smaller areas which will provide you with first class ski fun. At an altitude of between 1,797 - 3,303 m, the most up-to-date lifts takes you to your chosen destination- whether it be just the pistes or the gourmet temples. World class descents lead to Celerina. Due to its rather easier pistes, Furtschellas is best suited to families. Alpine scenery and wide glacial pistes await you at "Piz Corvatsch". The longest slope, at 10 km in length is "Diavolezza-Morteratsch", but is only recommended to the more advanced, as even though it's safe, it is unprepared. "Olympia" and the run at "Piz Lagalb" are among the most difficult pistes, and with steep northern flanks, deep snow areas and mogul pistes, are only suitable for experienced skiers. The run over the Morteratsch Glacier is a wonderful natural spectacle but should be used exclusively by very experienced skiers. The is also something for snowboarders and freeriders to enjoy. A brilliantly equipped snowpark, with quarterpipe, tables, slides, rails, jumps and funbox can be found between Corviglia and Marguns. And still the other areas have halfpipe, snowpark or boarder cross.

Night skiing Silvaplana

In Switzerland and other Alpine countries, night skiing is a popular option to use the pistes outside the regular opening hours. Nearby Silvaplana, in the night ski area Corvatsch, you can even find the longest night ski piste in Switzerland. Here, the so called "Snow Night" takes place every Friday from 19:00 - 01:00 at night. In this time, the approx. 4.2 km piste is illuminated for skiing at night time. Those looking for refreshment can take a break in the Restaurant Murtèl at the Corvatsch middle station. The lift passes for night skiing can be acquired in resort. Apart from the "Snow Night", the night ski piste can be booked privately or for groups on the other days, so that you can enjoy night skiing fun without being interrupted (further information in resort).

Après ski Silvaplana

Whilst après-ski in Silvaplana and most other resorts in Upper Engadine is rather quieter, you can find somewhere to party in St. Moritz. More than 150 official events offer entertainment of a special kind! Directly at the pistes, various huts and restaurants invite you in to sample what they have to offer. Party-seekers shouldn't miss a trip to "Hossa-Bar" in Corvatsch. In the resort itself you also have the choice of visiting a traditional Engadine inn, where you can spoil yourself with various culinary specialities or making a trip to one of the numerous clubs, for example the legendary "Club Vivai". If you prefer something more sporty off-piste, you can choose to go for a spin on the natural ice rinks, explore the surrounding area with a winter or snowshoe hike, or even take the opportunity to try out paragliding, parachuting or winter golf.
