Ski area Nassfeld - Lake Pressegger See

With the "Kärntner Skipass", you have an incredibly wide choice beyond the Nassfeld-Pressegger See ski area: You can use it to ski in 30 ski areas on a total of 866 kilometres of piste (see ski region)!

However, the range of pistes in Nassfeld-Pressegger See is also excellent: 110 kilometres of piste, 29 lift systems, altitudes of up to 2,002 m and a high reliability of snow offer skiers of all ability levels optimum conditions! The Millennium Express takes you from the valley to the Madritsche ski area (1,919 m), the hub of the ski area, in just a few minutes. This offers everything a skier's heart desires, from the beginners' piste to the speed run.

Beginners are best advised to start at the practice area at Sonnleitn or around the Sonnenalpe and Tressdorfer Alm. Here, "Penguin Bobo's Kids Club" attracts even the very youngest children, who can playfully take their first steps in the snow. More experienced winter sports enthusiasts can venture onto the speed run on the Troghöhe or the mogul pistes on the Rastl, for example. Great freeriding options can be found on the Trogkofel descent or on the Rudnigsattel slopes. The longest piste with over 7.6 km is also the only possible descent to the valley and leads down to the valley via the Tröpolacher Alm.

Another highlight is the Ski Movie race track at the Zweikofelbahn cable car. Freestylers will find a varied snowpark at the Watschiger Alm lifts and a ski and boardercross at the Leitern descent. There is also a 700-metre-long fun slope called "The Snake" with several obstacles on the Lärchenboden descent.

As a special service, there are Wi-Fi hotspots scattered throughout the ski area where you can connect to the free Wi-Fi network. This means that those at home don't have to wait long for your best holiday experiences and pictures, you can send pictures and messages directly via smartphone.

In addition, the Nassfeld ski area has already invested heavily in energy-efficient technology in recent years. The cable cars and lifts, as well as the up to 460 snowmaking systems with state-of-the-art technology, are powered by electricity from 100% renewable energy sources. In addition, innovative technologies, such as GPS snow depth measurement, enable the most energy-efficient preparation of the pistes and intelligent snow management.

Après ski Nassfeld - Lake Pressegger See

The list of après ski options is long: countless umbrella bars spread across the entire ski area invite you to spend an eventful evening. The "Cube" in particular, one of the most modern hotels on site, is the evening meeting point for the snowboard scene with its club, which parties to the beats of international DJs.

The region also has plenty to offer in terms of cuisine: Enjoy Carinthian Kitchen in one of the 25 huts and restaurants or the Mediterranean flair in one of the original "trattorias" on the Italian side of the Nassfeld.

Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings are hot on the approx. 2 km long floodlit piste of the Rattendorf toboggan run. During the day, you should definitely "say goodbye" to the piste and take advantage of the NTC Blue Day: From 10 euros, you can hire various fun sports equipment for a day and test it out in a specially demarcated area - from snowtubing to snowfoxes and snowcycles to airboards.

Over 50 km of winter hiking trails attract nature lovers in particular. Ice sports fans should treat themselves to a trip to Lake Pressegger See and Lake Weissensee - one of the largest natural ice rinks in Europe! Here you can go ice skating and Bavarian curling. There is also a cross-country ski trail and a hiking trail around the lake.

You prefer to take it easy? No problem. Then the Aquarena is the right place for you. An indoor pool with slide and a spa area with various saunas, steam baths and relaxation rooms ensure relaxation after a long day on the piste.
