Location and facilities

The traditional Valasian, family-run Hotel Bergheimat is located in the centre of Saas-Grund, directly at the Kreuzboden valley station. This convenient location makes it possible to descend right down to the doorstep, when snow conditions allow it, and access to the cross-country track can also be found in close proximity to the hotel. A ski bus stops directly in front of the house and comfortably brings you to the ski areas.

The welcoming accommodation is composed of two buildings (Bergheimat and Etoile), which are approx. 50 m apart from each other. The general facilities include a reception, lift, Wi-Fi as well as a dining room and a restaurant with a bar, a common room with a TV, and a ski and ski boot room. A sauna, steam bath and relaxation room can be used for a fee. Free parking spaces are provided (subject to availability).

Rooms

The cosily furnished rooms have a shower/wc, TV, Wi-Fi, safe, hair dryer (on request) and balcony or terrace. Allocation can take place in either the Hotel Bergheimat or the Hotel Etoile.

Board

The half board that is included in your holiday price consists of a breakfast buffet as well as a 4-course menu in the evening. On New Year's Eve, a festive dinner will be served.

  • If you have booked equipment through us, the ski hire is located in Sass-Fee (approx. 4 km).
  • Please note that the indoor pool will be closed from 14/04 to 14/06/24 and from 16/10 to 20/12/24.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
