Ski area Hohsaas - Saas-Grund

With your "Destination Pass" (see ski region), you have access to all 141 kilometres of piste in the Saas Valley, including the glacier ski area in Saas-Fee. The ski region offers descents of all levels of difficulty.

From Saas-Grund, you have direct access to the Kreuzboden-Hohsaas ski area at an altitude of 1,560 to 3,142 metres with the "Kreuzboden" gondola lift. Here, 34.5 kilometres of piste await you. A total of seven modern lift systems provide access to the predominantly medium-difficulty pistes. The longest descent, "Hohsaas-Saas-Grund", is 15 kilometres long. The "Hohsaas-Kreuzboden" glacier piste (800 metres difference in altitude) is a challenge even for experts. Children, on the other hand, can take their first steps in Snowland.

Night skiing Hohsaas - Saas-Grund

Night skiing is also possible in the Saas Valley. On selected dates or by prior arrangement, the "Ziebel" village lift in the hamlet of "Unter dem Berg" in Saas-Grund is put into operation and offers a small night skiing area. Between December and February, the t-bar lift there serves a blue descent, which is illuminated by appointment.

Après ski Hohsaas - Saas-Grund

Even if Saas-Grund is not the well-known Saas-Fee, there is still a party here. After a long day on the piste, you can end the evening in the "Platzhirsch" with live music, billiards and darts. If you prefer things a little quieter, you can treat yourself to national or international specialities in one of the many restaurants.

However, this is by no means the end of the leisure options. For example, you shouldn't miss out on a ride on one of the longest toboggan runs in the country: The 11-kilometre run leads from Kreuzboden down to Saas-Grund. Not only can you skate on the village's artificial ice rink, but with a bit of luck you can also watch one of the EHC Saas Valley's home games. Climbing fans can take advantage of both a bouldering cellar and the ice climbing facilities.

Snowpark Hohsaas - Saas-Grund: Snowpark Hohsaas

The extremely snow-reliable ski areas in the Saas Valley with their wide range of different pistes cater to the needs of every winter sports enthusiast. And that's not all: two different snowparks also attract freestylers - whether professional or beginner. Below the Kreuzboden in the Saas-Grund ski area is the "Kreuzboden" fun park, which makes freestyle hearts beat faster with various kickers and rails. There is also a junior park on the "Sandiger Boden" piste.

In the Morenia area above Saas-Fee, at an altitude of 2,600 metres, there is also the "Morenia" freestyle park with various kicker lines, boxes, rails, a quarter-pipe and a half-pipe. You can also relax in the chill-out zone.

A detour to the beginners' park at Stafelwald is worthwhile for beginners. There, they can try their first tricks on three different lines with varying degrees of difficulty.
