Cross-country Saas Grund

The relatively manageable network of trails is particularly suitable for beginners of the Nordic discipline. Some popular trails worth seeing are ideal for getting to know and love cross-country skiing. These include, for example, the 6 km long high altitude cross-country ski trail in Saas-Fee and the 26 km long Saas Valley cross-country ski trail, which leads from Balen via Almagell to Eyenalp and is very narrow in places. You can easily explore the cross-country trail over several days, as there are numerous bus stops along the route. There are also up to 12 kilometres of groomed skating-style trails. In total, there are 38 km of cross-country trails in the Saas Valley. To use the cross-country trails, you need to purchase a day pass for CHF 5 or a weekly pass for CHF 19 (prices with a guest card).
